Modular Curtain Walling (Kawneer 1202) Bespoke Rotating Brise Soleil Suspended External Walkway |
Value | 650,000 Euro |
This project comprised of a number of various systems stick curtain walling with modular infill panels together with bespoke rotating Brise Soleil and suspended external walkway and roof glazing.
The modular curtain walling is made of high density insulated panels at low level and high performance Pilkington suncool with solar control glazing. All opening vents are electrically operated and controlled by a BMS. Brise Soleil is a 450mm aerofoil type blade, which can be rotated simultaneously to provide added comfort to the office and classroom within.
The suspended walkway is made of a mixture of aluminium and stainless steel, which provides external access for maintenance and cleaning.
The roof glazing over the concourse is formed into a valley and is self supporting and is 52 metres in length, which provides enormous light in the concourse.
